Baby Shower!

I know it has been awhile since an good solid update. But to be honest nothing too exciting has happened. Sure the stomach & baby are getting bigger.... and there's only a few more weeks to go (2.5 to be exact!). At my appointment today I found out he is starting to plan his escape route (meaning he has dropped). The doctor was shocked that still carrying VERY high & my ribs are getting a beating. In other words.... he's going to be very long little boy. :)

On Feb 13, Amanda and Julie threw me a baby shower for PNW crowd. It was lovely and they did a wonderful job putting everything together. Several pictures were taken, but to be honest, I am too lazy to up load everything. So here's a link to Amanda's Blog...

A Growing Belly

I have been getting several inquiries about my ever-growing belly. For the past several months Facebook has been my source of communicating photos. For those who have wondered I have gained at least 40 lbs so far.
So here is a progression with the most recent first.

Christmas....

Sorry folks for the delay on posting Christmas Photos. As you know Christmas is all about the kiddos. Personally I was more excited this year for William and Dylan to open their gifts! This was Dylan's first Christmas, and we can't wait until next year for our baby's. :)

Ain't Nuttin Butta Turkey Leg, Baby!

We hosted Thanksgiving at our place this year. Andy, Amanda, William, and Dylan made the trip south to enjoy a bountiful feast. Obviously Turkey was the main course, but also Andy & Amanda were introduced to Steve's family tradition--- Bami. Needless to say it was a hit!
Unfortunately I was only able to snap one photo, but it sums up the day for everyone!

O Tannenbaum, O Kerstboom, O Julgran, Oh Christmas Tree!

While Thanksgiving leftovers chill in the ice box, some folks participate in the bloodsport known as Black Friday. Although I thoroughly enjoy contact sports we instead decorated for Christmas.
Steve continues to be a sport and helps Although he wonders why I insist putting up all the crap the day after Thanksgiving. The answer is simple: It's nice to enjoy the twinkle of lights for at least a month.

The Nursery (So Far)

As you might have heard we are expecting a BOY! We had our bets on it being a girl until the ultrasound tech said, "Well if it is a girl, then she has a nice set of testicles." (NO JOKE! He really did say that!) After which our baby boy gave his final say by showing us the full package & we couldn't be more proud!

.... and of course He gave us a nice shot too....

Here are a few photos of the nursery in progress....

Halloween

This year we spent Halloween in Washington with Andy, Amanda, and rest of the gang. William went as Spiderman and Dylan went as "The Green Gobblin'" (due to a spelling error on my behalf). We had a lot of fun and Trick or Treating around Fircrest partaking in probably more candy than the kids. :)

....And of course pumpkin carving!
